Research Associate (Fixed Term)

We are seeking to recruit a Research Associate to develop new techniques for single cell RNAseq of bacteria.

The position would be based between Andres Floto's laboratory in the Molecular Immunity Unit, Department of Medicine, University of Cambridge, (located in the MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology) and Julian Parkhill's laboratory at the WT Sanger Institute.

The post requires a PhD (or equivalent) in molecular biology, microbiology or equivalent. Experience in analysis of RNAseq data would be helpful but not essential. Applicants will be expected to work closely and interactively with colleagues in different disciplines, and to have communications skills.
