We are seeking to appoint a Receptionist/Administrator to work in the busy admin team based at our Douglas House site on Trumpington Road in Cambridge.
Reporting to the Douglas House Admin Team leader on a day-to-day basis, you will be the first point of contact for the admin team. This will include meeting visitors, responding to telephone calls and emails. As part of the admin team you will work closely with others to provide the highest level of service and support, which includes administrative/clerical support to members of the Department of Psychiatry based at DH and departmental visitors.
Douglas House is shared with Collaborations for Leadership in Applied Health Research and Care, a collaboration of academic researchers, clinicians and managers who undertake high quality applied health research to support the translation of research evidence into practice in the NHS and social care. The post holder will also provide a reception type service for any CLAHRC meetings and visitors, welcoming, contacting relevant members of staff and working with the CLAHRC Administrator to ensure information exchange, to provide a professional service.
The successful candidate will be a team player with communications skills (both written and oral) and organisation skills, being able to prioritise own workload and work to tight deadlines, computer skills are essential.
Appointment to the post will be part-time; Monday (9.00am-5.00pm), Tuesday (9.00am-5.00pm), Wednesday (9am-1.30pm).
