Research Nurse (Early Phase Clinical Trials) (Fixed Term)


We are looking for a Research Nurse to work on clinical research studies within the Early Phase Clinical Trials Team (EPCTT). The post holder will provide the nursing care for research patients and will manage, with support, the administration and day to day running of studies, ensuring compliance with Good Clinical Practice guidelines.

You should be a registered nurse with oncology/clinical trials experience, previous Early Phase clinical trials experience is desirable. You will need the ability to work in a self-directed and flexible manner (when required).

The EPCTT team is a multi-disciplinary group of doctors, nurses, data mangers and a trial coordinator led by Professor Duncan Jodrell. The EPCTT team's research goals are to optimise the "science-led" clinical application of novel therapies, including "first into man" (phase 1) and associated pharmacology studies.

Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available until 31 March 2019 in the first instance.
