The Cambridge University Development and Alumni Relations Office is the alumni engagement and fundraising arm of the University. It has the responsibility for raising major philanthropic gifts from alumni and non-alumni sources; for encouraging lifelong relationships and building links between the University and its alumni and supporters; ensuring that the worldwide community of over 300,000 alumni are well-informed about the development of the University and equipped to be effective ambassadors and advocates; and for communicating persuasively with all audiences to satisfy these objectives.
Are you experienced in high-profile volunteer management?
We are currently looking for a full-time Alumni Engagement Coordinator to work with our network of Alumni Groups around the world on a 12 month Fixed-Term contract. The role holder is one of seven people within the Alumni Engagement Team, reporting directly to the Alumni Engagement Manager. The role holder will be expected to interact and liaise with alumni at all levels, as well as other University and College staff.
We are looking for a candidate experienced in managing high-profile volunteers and able to adapt to an evolving environment with ease. The role holder will work on a number of exciting projects for our alumni groups, including developing our online services and coordinating the Cambridge Alumni Groups Leadership Conference in July 2018.
