Accounts Assistant - Supplier Database/BACS


We are seeking an Accounts Assistant to work in the busy Accounts Payable team based at Greenwich House for the position of Accounts Assistant Supplier Database/BACS.

The post holder is responsible for the maintenance of the supplier database held on the University Financial System and is required to scrutinise requests for new suppliers from departments, add new suppliers promptly to the database, up-date the database when notified of changes to existing supplier details and delete in-active/redundant suppliers.

The role holder will also provide BACS update support, some supplier statement reconciliations and general support across the Accounts Payable team.

Candidates should be educated to GCSE level or equivalent, have the ability to deal with staff and the public, be able to work on their own and in a team, possess excellent interpersonal skills / telephone manner and good PC skills.
