Research Associate in the charge transport physics of organic semiconductors (Fixed Term)

The post is in the field of the charge transport physics of organic semiconductors and is part of an EPSRC Programme grant. The research work is focussed on investigating the physics of a novel class of conjugated polymer semiconductors with exceptionally low degree of energetic disorder.

The project will involve a close collaboration with research teams at the University of Oxford and Imperial College and will be based in the group of Prof. Henning Sirringhaus at the Cavendish Laboratory.

Candidates should have a PhD in physics/chemistry/materials science or a related area, with research experience in charge transport or other physical measurements on organic semiconductors. The position is available from 1 October 2017 and is for 24 months.
