Applications are invited for the post of full-time Undergraduate Teaching Administrator in the Faculty of History. The post is available from October.
As part of a small team, the post holder will play a key role in supporting the Faculty's community of undergraduate students by providing administrative support to the Part II Examinations Board, the Dissertation Titles Committee and the Faculty's eight Subject Groups. The main duties include arranging meetings, drafting agendas and minutes and ensuring the completion of all post-meeting actions as well as answering enquiries relating to Part II undergraduate teaching.
The successful candidate must be educated to at least A level standard or equivalent. Good IT skills and the ability to learn new systems will be essential. The role holder must be able to work efficiently and accurately to fixed deadlines, using their initiative to prioritise tasks appropriately. He or she will have experience of working with committees and will possess excellent communication skills.
