Applications are invited for the position of, Widening Participation Manager (Post-16) based in the Cambridge Admissions Office.
The post is an exciting opportunity to lead the Post-16 Widening Participation Team managing four members of staff. The team is responsible for delivery of widening participation projects and activities specifically for post-16 students. Current projects include HE+, Sutton Trust Summer Schools and Experience Cambridge (see www.undergraduate.study.cam.ac.uk/find-out-more/widening-participation for more information). The post holder will oversee the delivery of all activity; work with external partners; manage the collection and preliminary analysis of participant data; establish and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues across the Collegiate University; and provide input to strategic development of widening participation activity.
Applicants should be educated to at least degree level and have a detailed knowledge of and commitment to widening participation to higher education. In addition applicants should have experience of managing or supervising staff; experience of planning and delivering events; experience of data analysis and interpretation; and excellent organisational, problem solving and communication skills.
