* Biochemical Analysis of ER-associated degradation pathways*
A postdoctoral position is available immediately for an outstanding scientist with a strong background in membrane protein biogenesis and degradation pathways. The successful candidate will join the group of Professor Paul J Lehner at the Cambridge Institute for Medical Research, University of Cambridge. This group has a major interest in host-viral interactions and degradation pathways. The project will focus on molecular and genetic analysis of ER degradation. The successful candidate should have first author papers in peer reviewed journals and experience of working with membrane proteins and be skilled in molecular, biochemical and immunological techniques.
Applicants should have excellent organisation and communication skills, and work well as part of a team.
Funds for this position are available until July 31st 2018 in the first instance with an immediate start date.
