The Faculty of English wishes to appoint a Teaching Associate in Medieval English Literature from 1 October 2017 to 31 July 2018.
The Teaching Associate will be expected to teach and examine medieval English literature with a specialism in the material text. Applicants should have teaching experience in palaeography, codicology, and the history of the book in the later medieval period (1100 to 1500). The Teaching Associate will replace Dr Orietta Da Rold, who is on leave.
Applicants should have a good first degree and a doctorate in a relevant subject area. It is also expected that applicants will have experience of successfully delivering and developing teaching at University level, including lectures, seminars and small group teaching, and the ability to work as part of a team.
Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available for 10 months in the first instance.
