Applications are invited for the position of Overseas Applications Administrator based in the Cambridge Admissions Office (CAO).
The post is part of the Admissions and Data Services team, which deals with incoming admissions enquiries; receives and processes over 16,000 undergraduate applications each year; liaises closely with the Cambridge Colleges, UCAS and Awarding Bodies to ensure high quality service delivery; and which produces management information, research, statistics and reports on undergraduate admissions to inform strategy.
The post-holder will coordinate and support all aspects of the administration for undergraduate overseas applications and admissions. This will involve working with a variety of stakeholders in the admissions process including the overseas interview teams, Colleges, applicants, advisors and academics as well as colleagues within CAO, to ensure a streamlined application and admissions process for everyone involved.
Applicants should be educated to degree level, have excellent organisational, communication, administrative, problem solving and IT skills as well as experience of working within an office environment, preferably within a Higher Education context. The post-holder will work as part of a strong team whilst prioritising and planning their individual workload with conflicting priorities in order to meet strict deadlines.
