Pensions Administrator


Following an internal promotion the Pensions Office is looking to appoint a Pensions Administrator. The successful candidate will be based within the HR Division at Greenwich House.

The role-holder candidate will be responsible for maintaining records and administering the Cambridge University Assistants' Contributory Pension Scheme (CUACPS) and the Cambridge Colleges Federated Pension Scheme (CCFPS) and from 1 August 2017 the CUP pension schemes. To advise on matters generally regarding the various pension schemes relating to pension provision both privately and from the State.

The candidate will be able to work to tight deadlines, prioritise their own work with minimum supervision. Candidates will need to have previous accounting experience excellent organisational and communication skills and be IT literate. Experience of running pensioner payrolls would be an advantage.

In addition, applicants should be able to demonstrate the ability to deal with all levels of staff and visitors with diplomacy and tact, and will possess good time management skills, the ability to use their own initiative and be willing to work flexibly.

Once an offer of employment has been accepted, the successful candidate will be required to undergo a basic disclosure (criminal records check) check, a health assessment and a security check.
