The Cancer Research UK Cambridge Centre is seeking to recruit a Finance & Research Grants Co-ordinator, who will be responsible for providing financial and grant management information to members of the Cancer Centre.
This is a varied and interesting role involving liaison with a wide variety of staff at all levels, in particular, you will assist senior academics, the Centre's Finance and Grants Manager, and the Centre's Director, for the purposes of providing information and management on all financial matters relating to the Cancer Centre.
You will establish close working relationships with the Centre's twelve Programme and Theme Leads, the University's Research Office, School Accounts Office, as well as liaise and negotiate with external funding providers.
You will have a degree and/or accountancy qualification (or equivalent) together with experience in financial/grants operations and planning. You will possess organisational and interpersonal skills with the ability to clearly present and explain information. In addition, you will have excellent attention to detail, and have the ability to make decisions and to work well under pressure and meet exact deadlines.

Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available for 2 years in the first instance.
