Research Assistant/Associate in Diamond Power Devices (Fixed Term)


A full time Reseach Assistant/Research Associate position exists to work on novel power devices in diamond. The successful candidate will have or be about to complete a PhD in the relevant field. Preference will be given to candidates who have expertise on high voltage wide bandgap devices.

The post holder will be located in West Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, UK.

The key responsibly and duty is the development of diamond-based high voltage MOSFETs for 10 kV applications. This will include modelling, numerical simulations and layout design.

Salary Ranges: Reseach Assistant: £25,298 - £29,301 Research Associate: £29,301 - £38,183

Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available until 30 April 2019 in the first instance.
