Applications are now invited from suitably qualified candidates for the post of Course Director for the Construction Engineering Masters Programme (CEM) - a two-year part-time Masters degree in Construction Engineering. The course is based in the Laing O'Rourke Centre for Construction Engineering and Technology in the Department of Engineering at the University of Cambridge and taught in collaboration with the Judge Business School and other Cambridge University departments. This degree is targeted at professionals who have had several years' experience in the construction industry and already attained a leadership role or been identified as potential leaders in their field. The Course Director will be responsible for the planning, development, management and delivery of all aspects of the degree course which has been running since September 2011. This post provides an exciting opportunity to educate the future leaders of the construction sector, working in collaboration with many leading experts from industry and academia.
The successful candidate will likely have extensive professional experience in the construction industry. It would be essential to have experience in teaching and research. The Course Director may potentially have the opportunity to undertake research in addition to the primary responsibilities relating to the Masters course. It is hoped the successful candidate will take up appointment as soon as possible.
Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available until 31 March 2020 in the first instance.
