Kettle's Yard is seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Facilities and Security Manager to lead and develop security and health and safety policy and to support the activities of the organisation at this exciting time in the its history.
As a key part of the Operations Team, you will support a highly efficient operation which both enables and supports the Kettle's Yard programme as well as increasing financial resilience and sustainability.
Kettle's Yard is currently undergoing a major building project, due to re-open in early 2018. We are looking for someone who would enjoy the challenge of managing a new building, training staff and developing policies and procedures to ensure the security and smooth running of the house and galleries.
The Facilities and Security Manager will spend the initial months in post supporting the work of the Operations Team. This will include understanding the new premises, helping to develop the new venue hire programme, and supporting the curatorial team to reinstall the permanent collection.
Once open you will be providing both a seamless back of house operation and working with the Visitor Services Team to provide an outstanding front of house service and a secure and safe environment for visitors, staff and the collection.

Kettle's Yard is a beautiful house with a remarkable collection of modern art as well as a gallery that hosts modern and contemporary art exhibitions. It has an international reputation for its outreach programmes which includes concerts of new and classical music and an extensive and diverse programme of learning and community activities. It attracts over 70,000 visitors a year, on reopening it hopes to increase visitors by 35%.
