Kettle's Yard is seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Visitor Services Manager to lead and develop the front of house team at this exciting time in the organisation's history.
As a key part of the Operations Team, you will support a highly efficient operation which both enables and supports the Kettle's Yard programme as well as increasing financial resilience and sustainability.
Kettle's Yard is currently undergoing a major building project, due to re-open in early 2018. We are looking for someone who would enjoy the challenge of recruiting and training new staff, and developing policies and procedures to ensure the smooth running of the house and galleries.
The Visitor Services Manager will spend the initial months in post supporting the work of the Operations Team. This will include helping to shape the visitor experience at Kettle's Yard, championing a welcoming and inclusive experience for all visitors.
Once open, you will run an outstanding front of house service providing a secure and safe environment for visitors, staff and the collection, and taking responsibility for the scheduling, training and welfare of the front of house team.

Kettle's Yard is a beautiful house with a remarkable collection of modern art as well as a gallery that hosts modern and contemporary art exhibitions. It has an international reputation for its outreach programmes which includes concerts of new and classical music and an extensive and diverse programme of learning and community activities. It attracts over 70,000 visitors a year, on reopening it hopes to increase visitors by 35%.
