Student Registry Administrator

This role is based in the front facing service of the Student Registry. The Student Registry has a broad remit, providing administrative services to students at every stage of their student journey (from admission to exams and assessment to graduation), and to staff and third parties.

Consequently, this is a busy office, responding to high volumes of enquiries and processing high volumes of data.

Your role is to be the initial point of contact for the office, to maintain the student record; produce formal documents including transcripts; and assist with student administrative activities within the Section.

Therefore, you must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with all levels of academic staff, students, administrative staff and members of the public making enquiries by email, telephone and face-to face. You must be able to manage high volumes of work and able to change tasks frequently.

You should have relevant experience in clerical work, a customer service environment and have a good general education including at least GCSE (or equivalent) in English Language and Mathematics.
