NEACO Finance Administrator (Fixed Term)

Applications are invited for the new post of Network for East Anglian Collaborative Outreach (NEACO) Finance Administrator. The post-holder will have responsibility for all financial transactions related to the NEACO project as well as some aspects of office management for the NEACO Central Team.

This post is being created as part of the National Collaborative Outreach Programme (NCOP), a Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE) funded project which aims to increase the number of young people from low participation neighbourhoods entering higher education by 2020. As part of this national project, the University of Cambridge is acting as the lead for a consortium of Higher Education Institutions and other stakeholders across Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire and Peterborough.

The post-holder will be the main point of contact and the administrator with responsibility for processing all financial transactions relating to the NEACO project. This includes receipt of funding; allocation of funds to partners; raising and processing invoices and purchase orders; purchasing; allocation and oversight of funds; budget planning; providing financial management reports. The post-holder will also have responsibility for some aspects of office management for the NEACO Central Team. The post-holder may have the opportunity to work towards a suitable accounting qualification.

Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available until 31 December 2018 in the first instance.
