This role is within the Student Registry of the Academic Division. The Student Registry has a broad remit, providing administrative services to students at every stage of their student journey (from admission to exams and assessment to graduation), and to staff and third parties. This role focusses on student records, compliance and student facing activities.
The role includes: accurately maintaining current student and archive records; assisting Colleges in updating and maintaining student data according to University policy; supporting Departments and degree committees in interpreting student record information and to troubleshoot records queries; supporting colleagues in data quality checks for statutory reporting needs; supporting the processes of examinations, from enrolment to assessment, supervising examinations and publication of examination results; ensuring the administration of Disclosure and Barring Service and research passport checks on incoming and current students; managing the process of lecture room allocation for departments during term time.
You will also be the Student Registry Health and Safety Officer, responsible for disseminating health and safety information to all relevant parties and ensuring that both policy and practice reflects health & safety legislation and best practice.

The post holder will be educated to A level standard or equivalent and have at least GCSE level (or equivalent) English Language and Mathematics.
